My approach is adaptive and responsive. I offer support, understanding, and sometimes a gentle nudge when needed, while remaining open to the direction you wish to take.

My Background
Being a counselor has been a surprising and fulfilling journey for me. Although my initial dream was to become a social worker, my path took me through various roles. I started by working in child protection, which was both challenging and emotionally demanding. Seeking to explore different areas within social work, I pursued a degree at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work and secured an internship at a Community Mental Health center. It was there that I discovered my passion for therapy.
To ensure that therapy was the right fit for me, I spent a year working in a school setting, but ultimately, it didn't feel like the right match. I have since realized that being a therapist is where I truly belong. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals across a broad age range, from as young as 2 years old to as old as 70.
I'm originally from Australia but have lived in America for a long time. Yes, I do have an accent. If you have any questions about Australia, it would be a pleasure to answer them.
In my spare time, I enjoy attending musicals and comedy shows. I find that laughing is a great way to heal and release tension. I also love spending time with my two rescue dogs, Navy and Milo.
