Waking with extreme emotional pain, dreading the day ahead, feeling completely burned out despite not even getting out of bed.
Wishing to sleep through this exhausting time as you are feeling fatigued anyway. Your mind starts to race and does not switch off until the end of the day where you shut down and collapse.
Saying to yourself, “If I was to share my ruminating thoughts with others, they would think I have lost my mind.” Acting as you have it together, pushing yourself to a breaking point until experiencing complete exhaustion. The job needs to get done, focusing on every single detail, constantly finding fault in your work.
Broken and left with no point of reference!
So desperate to prove yourself; you crave the recognition, that acknowledgment, that validation. Getting one little criticism or no credit from coworkers can set you off in a panic. You narrow the focus to what you did wrong! You’re too embarrassed to show your face.
In joining with you, I’m going to help you untangle the confusion you feel and articulate what you are thinking and feeling.
I will support you in letting go of all that unnecessary stress you put on yourself to reach unrealistic standards. I will help you get back control in a much healthier and satisfying way.
I’m going to reinforce caring for yourself without feeling guilty is rewarding and will help reduce your stress.

Understand setbacks can occur in your life, yet this is not a reason to give up, it just means you need to reevaluate and adjust your direction.
I’m someone you can rely on during this complicated time by checking in with you every step of the way, and little by little we can make sense of what’s really driving you to a breaking point.
I also like to reflect on the personal growth you have made as time goes by, just to demonstrate progress and change is possible. Progress just takes time.
